Fig and Cinnamon Shake

Makes 1 shake

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Beerenberg Fig & Cinnamon Jam
  • 300ml milk
  • 1 large scoop vanilla ice cream
  • 1 tablespoon fig syrup (see note)
  • 1 cinnamon doughnut
  • whipped cream1 fresh fig, sliced
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method:

In a blender, combine the Beerenberg Fig & Cinnamon Jam, milk and ice cream. Pour into a serving glass or jar and spread a generous amount of fig syrup around the rim. Top with the cinnamon doughnut and fill the centre with whipped cream. To finish, place the fresh fig on top and dust with ground cinnamon.

Note: For fig syrup, in a small saucepan combine 2 tablespoons of Beerenberg Fig & Cinnamon Jam, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and 1 tablespoon of water. Cook on low heat until sugar has dissolved.
