An exciting opportunity exists for a proactive and passionate WHS Coordinator to join our team and champion a culture of safety, wellbeing, and compliance. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead initiatives that ensure our workplace remains safe, healthy, and aligned with legislative requirements. You’ll work closely with leaders and employees to embed best practices and drive continuous improvement in our safety systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain WHS policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and workplace audits.
  • Monitor compliance with WHS legislation and internal standards.
  • Deliver training and education programs to promote safety awareness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate safety risks.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support wellbeing initiatives and contribute to a positive safety culture.

Role Overview

Reporting to the National Independent Account Manager, you will service and grow South Australia’s independent grocery and specialty retail network, increasing brand visibility and product range through relationship-led selling and in-store execution.

About the Person

You are a relationship-first seller who enjoys partnering with retailers to deliver practical results in store. You plan your territory, run a disciplined call cycle, keep clean records and communicate clearly with both customers and internal teams. Self-driven and personable, you balance autonomy with collaboration, use insights to expand ranging and promotions, and are confident working with basic digital tools and ordering platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow existing accounts and prospect new independent customers
  • Promote new lines and seasonal activity, support merchandising in key stores
  • Maintain accurate customer data, call cycles and timely reporting
  • Visit customers on a regular cycle, ensure promo participation and maximise range
  • Collaborate with the sales team and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Assist with the growth of the Domestic Food Service as required

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven sales and account management success in supermarket, retail or related sectors
  • Experience in supermarket, retail or related sectors, confident to up sell and cross sell
  • Strong time management, communication and problem-solving
  • Customer-centric self-starter who works well in a team
  • Proficiency with MS Office, food manufacturing exposure advantageous
