
Ingredients
1 x jar Beerenberg Creamy Stroganoff 30 Minute Meal Base
500g sliced beef (or swap for chicken)
500g sliced mushrooms
1 brown onion, diced
200g sour cream
SERVE WITH
Fettuccine
Sour cream
Flat-leaf parsley
Directions
Heat 1 tablespoon of butter or oil in a non-stick pan, and onion and beef or chicken, fry for 5 minutes.
Add mushrooms and contents of jar, using a splash of water to rinse out jar. Stir, and then cook with the lid on for 15 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.
Add sour cream, stir to combine and simmer for a further 5-10 minutes with the lid off to reduce.
Rest for 5 minutes. Serve with fettuccine, sour cream and flat-leaf parsley.
Note: For best results, we suggest using rump steak
