PATCH TO PIE

Strawberry & Apple Pie Making Class

Dreaming of a homemade pie that tastes like a slice of the country life?

Led by our talented farm chef, you’ll begin your journey in our strawberry patch, selecting the finest berries for your pie. Afterwards, head to the kitchen, where you'll learn the art of creating a perfect strawberry and apple pie with apples from our friends at Lenswood. From crafting the buttery crust to preparing the sweet fruit filling, this class will give you the skills and confidence you need to bake pies at home anytime. 

In this class, you’ll:

  • Handpick fresh strawberries from our farm.
  • Master the art of making a tender, flaky pie crust.
  • Learn the secrets behind creating a delicious pie filling
  • Gain hands-on experience in pie shaping, filling, and baking.

While you wait for your pie to bake – you’ll be treated to a barista coffee and are welcome to stay and learn more about our farm’s history and the stories behind our brand. Or, feel free to use this time to browse our farm shop and explore 100+ Beerenberg products

When your pie is done cooking, you’ll be able to take it home along with the recipe so you can continue your pie-making adventures at
home.

Please note that strawberry picking is weather-dependent, in the event of weather beyond our control, we may need to cancel the outdoor aspect of this activity. If this happens, we will still provide you with fresh strawberries from the farm, available for you to select inside Grant’s Kitchen.


High Tea

Enjoy a taste of the country life, with our Beerenberg High Tea

This is no ordinary high tea. Think country charm. Think indulgent. Think ‘this food looks far, far (far) too good to eat’.

Once you arrive at our beautiful family farm nestled in the Adelaide Hills, you will be greeted by our friendly team and served a delicious high tea experience prepared by our Farm Chef, David Bennett.

Each more decadent than the next, you’ll enjoy three tiers of hand-made savoury and sweet creations,  such as strawberry and rose jam tarts and mini sandwiches of smoked salmon and cream cheese with our Balsamic Beetroot Relish. Each dish showcases our delicious Beerenberg products, from fruity jams to tasty chutneys and relishes. 

And of course, a high tea wouldn’t be complete with scones and jam — and our freshly baked, mini heart-shaped scones are guaranteed to leave you feeling special. All served with your choice of T Bar Tea or barista coffee, you’ll walk away with a true taste of country life.

Beerenberg Product Tasting

A Taste of Beerenberg

Receive a warm country welcome in our farm cafe. Enjoy a local wine or soft drink and settle in with a seasonal locally sourced grazing platter. Learn how we develop new creations and sample a variety of products from across our range. If you’re lucky you may even get to taste pre-release products and share your thoughts on future flavour combinations products.

You will begin with a savoury platter, then enjoy our famous scones with a selection of Beerenberg jams and cream and finish with a taste of our house made ice cream
