Strawberry Season - Pick Your Own

Everything you need to know about Strawberry picking

We’ve been offering pick your own strawberries at our farm since 1975 and it has become a true Adelaide institution.

How it works

Step 1

Check the top right hand side of our homepage on the day you intend to visit to make sure that our patch is open.

Step 2

Go to the Farm Shop. Pay $5/person (12 years and under are free). You will be given a wristband and picking containers.

Step 3

Follow the red flag to the strawberry patch. Enter the patch and pick to your heart's content. Post pics of your visit to the farm this summer with hashtag #PickMeBeerenberg for the chance to win a delicious box of Beerenberg goodies!

Step 4

Go back to the farm shop and pay for the strawberries you pick ($10.95/kg).

We’re open 7 days a week* (closed Christmas Day) with patch entry 9am to 4.15pm (farm shop closes at 5pm).

Large group bookings are essential – special prices for groups of children apply.

Cost: $5 per person (12 years and under free). You will be given a wristband and picking containers. Strawberries are $10.95 per kg.

*Always check the homepage of our website to make sure we're open before coming, because sometimes (particularly on weekends), we are so busy that we simply get what we call "picked out".

But don't worry - a few days later and we're back in action!

#PICKMEBEERENBERG IS BACK

Returning again this year is our Pick Me! competition, where we're looking for the best pictures captured in the patch. Simply upload an image of your strawberry picking experience and include the hashtag #PickMeBeerenberg for your chance to be selected as one of our weekly winners of a Beerenberg prize pack.
