Ingredients
- 1 cup natural yoghurt
- juice of 1 lime
- 1 jar Beerenberg Slow Cooker Moroccan Lamb
- 1kg beef mince
- 1 brown onion, diced
- 1 egg
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- ½ bunch parsley, leaves finely chopped
- ½ bunch mint, leaves finely chopped
Method:
In a small serving bowl mix the yoghurt, lime juice and 1 teaspoon of Beerenberg Slow Cooker Moroccan Lamb.
In a large bowl add the beef mince, onion, egg, breadcrumbs, parsley, mint and the remainder of the Beerenberg Slow Cooker Moroccan Lamb. Thoroughly mix to combine. Roll the mixture into 25 ovals and thread onto bamboo skewers.
Heat the grill to 180°C and line a large baking tray with aluminium foil. Place the koftas on the tray and place another piece of aluminium foil over the exposed skewers to stop them from burning. Place under the grill for 5 minutes. Turn the koftas and cook for a further 5 minutes or until cooked through. Place on a serving platter with the lime yoghurt sauce.
