Baked Mini Hot Dogs with New York Style Hot Dog Relish


1 packet par-cooked mini wholegrain bread rolls

20g butter, softened

8 x mini hot dog sausages

1/3 cup wholegrain mustard

1/2 cup cheddar, grated

1 x jar Beerenberg New York Style Hot Dog Relish 


This is an absolute party pleaser - always a hit with all ages and perfect to make up in a big batch when there’s a big sports game to watch, or a large number of people to feed casually and easily! This recipe makes 8 small rolls but can be doubled or quadrupled easily!

Preheat oven to 180c. Slice rolls down the middle, lengthways, then spread with butter and fill with a hot dog sausage each. Nestle these tightly in an oven-proof tray or dish, smear a little mustard over the top of each then sprinkle with the grated cheddar. Place in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese melted. Serve immediately with Beerenberg New York Style Hot Dog Relish.
