Beef Sliders with Cheddar Cheese and Balsamic Beetroot Yoghurt

Beef Sliders with Cheddar Cheese and Balsamic Beetroot Yoghurt


3 tablespoons Greek yoghurt

3 tablespoons Beerenberg Balsamic Beetroot Relish 

2 beef patties, approximately 150g each

2 teaspoons cooking oil

6 slices cheddar cheese

6 slider buns or dinner rolls, cut in half

big handful mixed lettuce leaves

1 tomato, sliced


In a small bowl, mix together the Greek yoghurt and Beerenberg Balsamic Beetroot Relish.

To make the slider patties, divide each burger patty into three. Roll each piece into a ball before flattening to about 1cm thick.

Heat a large frypan over medium heat and add the oil and slider patties. Cook for 3 minutes or until beginning to char. Flip the patties and top each one with a slice of cheese. Cook for another 3 minutes before removing from the heat.

In each slider bun lay some mixed lettuce leaves and a slice of tomato. Top with the beef patty and cheese, and a big spoon of Beerenberg Balsamic Beetroot Relish and yoghurt mixture.
