Ingredients
500g mince of choice (lamb, chicken, beef)
1 brown onion (diced)
500ml stock
1 cup cauliflower, diced
1 cup frozen peas
(or 2 cups of your choice of veg)
1 jar Beerenberg Biryani Meal Base
Plain yoghurt & slivered almonds (to serve)
Directions
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in pan. Add diced onion and mince of choice. Cook until brown.
Add uncooked rice, chopped vegetables and the contents of this jar, using the stock to rinse out jar.
Stir to combine. Cover with lid and simmer for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
If using peas, add to pan now and cook for a further 5 minutes.
Remove from heat. Rest for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with plain yoghurt and slivered almonds.
